President
With over 15 years of extensive experience in the commercial real estate lending industry, Gregg Wolfer, President, comes to 24 Capital with unimpeachable credentials. Knowledgeable, experienced, and with a long and proven track record, Gregg has established a national reputation among commercial lenders for his expertise in successfully dealing with all manner of direct lending scenarios. The companies with which he has been affiliated in his career have been key lenders in projects throughout this country and around the world. Gregg has been directly involved in numerous transactions worth hundreds of millions of dollars, including commercial property acquisition, development and construction, income producing properties, turnaround situations, and many other ventures, where the loans were secured by commercial real estate. He brings a definite creative outlook to the company, and is no stranger to challenging situations and tight schedules, and a has a knack for dealing satisfactorily and effortlessly with both. Gregg attended the University of Arizona in Tucson where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree.

Jim Syros brings to 24 Capital several years of management experience in the direct private lending arena. He also possesses in-depth knowledge of the worldwide hospitality industry. In addition to working with the largest mortgage brokerages in the country, Jim has successfully closed over $300 million in loans, and has earned an enviable reputation in the commercial lending arena. Adding to his broad experiential base, Jim was also a loan officer for a national residential lender, where he acquired a comprehensive expertise in the intricacies of the loan process. Jim’s experience, ability, and creativity are pivotal elements in attracting and completing successful commercial real estate loans for the company. His fortitude and comprehension continue to earn
him both the admiration of our clients and the respect of our industry’s fellow professionals. Jim earned his B.A. degree in hotel and restaurant management from Northern Arizona University.

Director Edwin Urrego is able to bring multiple skills to bear on his career with
24 Capital. Prior to joining the firm, Edwin gained valuable experience and insight as an executive loan officer at one of the industry’s most respected commercial mortgage lenders. Before that, he was a financial specialist at a noted New Jersey real estate firm. As an initial contact for the company, he worked closely with potential borrowers, which enabled him to further hone his already acute skills in interpersonal communications. Furthermore, Edwin’s versatility and thorough knowledge of the Spanish language has made him a major asset to the company when working with Spanish-speaking groups. Edwin was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Monmouth University School of Business.

Loan Officer
Chris Canale brings an impressive depth of experience to his function as loan officer.
In addition to having worked for a nationally recognized direct private lender, he has worked in the commercial real estate industry, where he was involved with financial analysis as well as with the construction, zoning, and entitlements of commercial properties. He ended up specializing in self-storage and retail shopping centers, and
he is currently a partner in a self storage facilities and shopping center venture in the
tri-state area. Chris also worked in the financial industry as a mortgage broker associate for a New York bank, where he excelled in identifying candidates for specialized refinancing solutions. Chris earned a B.A. degree in economics from the University of Connecticut, and has his real estate license in the state of New York.

Loan Originator
Loan originator Gerald Shmaruk comes to 24 Capital with a diversity of experience from the mortgage banking industry, the lending industry, and the equities trading arena. Possessing proven skills in each category, Gerald is a critical thinker with superior problem resolution abilities. While serving as a senior mortgage banker at a well-known direct lender, he originated and processed residential, investor, and commercial property transactions, and was involved in all due diligence of the transaction, from inception to closing. As a loan officer at a financial services firm, Gerald originated all mortgages, gathered financial data, and more, and also contributed to all marketing efforts. And while an equities trader, he had daily capital access of over $50 million.
Gerald was awarded his B.S. degree in finance from The George Washington
University in Washington, D.C. He has also earned a certification in personal financial planning, and a certification in paralegal studies from New York University.

Executive Secretary
Yanira Rosario is the Executive Secretary to the President of 24 Capital Corp. In
this demanding position, she oversees the preparation and administration of loan documents and contracts, and regularly serves in a liaison capacity with 24 Capital’s attorneys, clients, and co-lenders. Prior to joining 24 Capital, Yanira served for several years and gained valuable experience in the direct private lending industry, while in the employ of one of the most recognized lenders in the field. Before that, she worked for
a well-known law firm for five years, where she was a legal secretary and executive assistant, helping to prepare comprehensive legal documentation. While there, she
also managed a department and was in charge of training new employees and interns. Yet another talent that makes Yanira a recognized and valued company asset is her bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, an invaluable benefit when dealing with clients who speak Spanish as their first language. Yanira holds a certificate in Administrative Office Technology.

Secretary
Nicole Rentas’ diverse background makes her an ideal addition to the 24 Capital roster. Before coming aboard, Nicole worked for several years as a legal secretary in a prestigious law firm, where she became intimately familiar with legal proceedings in a variety of venues. She was instrumental in providing materials and support that enabled the partners in the firm to effectively handle their case loads. Prior to that, Nicole acquired experience in the banking industry, working for two years as head teller for a well-known regional institution which operates over 200 branches throughout New Jersey, Connecticut, New York, and Pennsylvania. Her experience and dedication are expected to be significant additions to the company.
